John Wambui is a former cloud engineer who got his start at NexaTrust Solutions, where he worked as a Junior Cloud Engineer helping deploy, manage, and tune the infrastructure that kept the company's systems running. Day to day, that meant supporting live cloud operations, digging into infrastructure issues when things broke, hardening configurations to keep environments secure, and working alongside the engineering team to squeeze better performance and reliability out of the stack.
He holds a BSc in Software Engineering and is a Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer. His work centers on Google Cloud Platform — cloud networking, IAM, virtualization, and security — with a strong footing in DevOps practices and infrastructure automation. John's interest is less in technology for its own sake and more in the unglamorous discipline behind it: building systems that stay secure, scale cleanly, and hold up under real-world load.
